Aithos

Build AI. Regenerate the World.

Our mission

At Aithos, we explore how artificial intelligence can become a force for regeneration across humanity, society, and the planet.

We see AI as more than progress. It is a responsibility. It is ethics. It is design that shapes how systems live, fail, and renew.

Through research, dialogue, and community thinking, we examine how intelligent systems can support regeneration across ecological, social, economic, and human dimensions.

We care about the world. And we care about what AI allows it to become again.

Latest Episode

As AI becomes embedded in education, the question is no longer just how students use it—but what it is doing to the way they think.

In this episode of Aithos, host Aashna Jain speaks with philosopher Sven Nyholm about the evolving role of AI in classrooms and universities.

Rather than framing AI as simply helpful or harmful, this conversation explores the tension between AI as a tool that supports thinking — and one that risks replacing it.

We discuss how institutions are responding to AI, why banning it may miss the point, and how over-reliance — especially early on — can shape a student’s ability to judge, reason, and think independently.

The episode also unpacks broader questions around authorship, assessment, and what education is ultimately meant to develop in an AI-driven world.

As education enters an experimental phase, this conversation asks what we should adapt — and what we should be careful not to lose

Our 8 key principles drive the way in which we suggest AI should be developed:

  1. Regenerative Systems
  2. Human Integrity
  3. Planet First
  4. Integrated Intelligence
  5. Long-Term Thinking
  6. Augmented Agency
  7. Systemic Interdependence
  8. Purpose over Power
